DuraBlend Tall Fescue
DuraBlend is the most common sod type used in the Mid-Atlantic. It has good shade tolerance, is easy to maintain, and provides good color year-round.
HD2000 Kentucky Bluegrass
Kentucky Bluegrass requires slightly more maintenance than Tall Fescue, but has a finer texture. It requires full sun. Commonly used on sports fields and golf courses in the Mid-Atlantic
Zenith Zoysia
Zenith Zoysia is a low maintenance alternative to traditional grasses. Zenith has superior cold tolerance compared to other Zoysia grasses and should be the only Zoysia considered for most projects in the Mid-Atlanic where cold weather is a concern.
Tahoma 31 Bermudagrass
Tahoma was bred for excellent cold tolerance and is suitable for golf courses and sports fields as far north as New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
